A Personal Support Worker (PSW) assists clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, light housekeeping and medication reminders. They can also assist clients with mobility, including transferring from bed to wheelchair, walking transport and fall prevention. They also provide companionship and emotional support.
All of our Personal Support Workers are fully certified, have undergone thorough background checks and education verification and have experience providing high quality in-home care.
If your loved one is struggling with daily tasks such as getting dressed, preparing meals, or maintaining personal hygiene, a PSW can provide the support they need to stay safe and comfortable at home.
PSWs assist with personal care and daily activities but do not provide medical treatments. However, HealthCasa offers specialized healthcare services such as physiotherapy and footcare which can be arranged alongside PSW services.
