Ergonomic Assessment FAQs

What can I expect with an in-home Ergonomic Assessment?

Your in-home ergonomic assessment starts with an in-depth discussion of the problems and/or limitations with your space and setup, including current injuries or discomforts.

The  practitioner will then review and evaluate your workstation and how to use it while completing typical work tasks.  Adjustments are then made to your workstation (e.g., chair, desk, footrest, monitor, keyboard, mouse etc.)

The practitioner will then educate you on injury prevention techniques, including stretches and exercises.

Following the assessment, a summary report will be sent to you which outlines the findings, changes, and recommendations for modifications or equipment.

Who performs the ergonomic assessments?

Our in-home ergonomic assessments are performed by mobile Occupational Therapists or mobile Physiotherapists who are experts in ergonomic assessments.
