What is it?
Morton’s Toe is when the second toe is longer than the big toe, causing pain behind the second toe where it meets the foot.
What is the Cause?
This is a genetic condition.
Recommended Treatment
It is important to ensure that shoes are the correct size. As well, pads are recommended to support the heads of the metatarsal bones, to alleviate pressure on the second toe. These pads can be incorporated into a custom orthotic.
