If you are interested in having health and wellness services at your office such as RMT massage therapy, physiotherapy, chiropody or chair massage services for wellness events,  please ask your employer or HR manager to contact us HERE

What locations do you service?

We service most of the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, York Region, Durham Region, Peel Region, Halton Region, Barrie Area.

Our virtual dietitian services are available across Ontario, Alberta, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

Our mobile registered massage therapy services are also currently available in Edmonton and Calgary, with more services available soon.

How does HealthCasa select practitioners?

All HealthCasa practitioners are registered and in good standing with their respective professional colleges. That means that they meet all the necessary requirements of their governing body (reviewed annually) to practice their profession. Multiple members of the HealthCasa executive team personally interview every applicant, and only those who meet our stringent requirements make the cut.  We pride ourselves on having a team of knowledgeable, experienced practitioners who are also great people.  All our practitioners must successfully pass a police background check and multiple reference checks.

What happens after I book my in-home appointment?

You’ll receive a booking confirmation email with all of your appointment details, with a link to complete a health history form and consent form which must be completed before your first appointment.

You’ll also receive a reminder email 48 hours before your appointment and a text message 2 hours before your appointment.

Why do I need to complete a health history form?

All our practitioners are regulated under the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 (RHPA) and a health history form is a legal requirement mandated by all the professional colleges.

More importantly, your health history is a complete picture of your health which helps your practitioner determine the best treatment plan to suit your individual needs so you get the best, most personalized treatments possible. You will only complete this form once, and your practitioner will update any changes with you at each visit.

How do I pay for my in-home appointment?

HealthCasa accepts payment via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Visa and Mastercard Debit cards. Once your appointment is booked, our administrative team will call you to add your payment information  to your secure patient profile.  This can be used for any future appointments.  Your card is charged AFTER your appointment is complete, at which point you’re automatically emailed a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance.

How do I get reimbursed by my insurance for my in-home appointment?

Most extended health insurance programs cover mobile RMT massage therapy, mobile physiotherapy, mobile chiropody and foot care, mobile orthotics, mobile occupational therapy in your home, in-home or in-office ergonomics assessments, virtual dietitian services in your home, virtual counseling & mental health appointments and mobile hearing tests and hearing aid services in your home

After your appointment is completed, all receipts and other documentation that may be required by your insurance company, will be emailed to you.

How do I cancel my in-home appointment?

Simply email or text us with more than 24 hours notice to cancel your appointment.

Please note that appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full amount indicated at the time of booking.  If there are extenuating circumstances, please email us and we can discuss the situation with you.

For appointments in your office or for appointments of two or more people, we require a minimum of 48 hours notice of cancellation, to avoid the cancellation fee.

How is my personal information protected?

HealthCasa has implemented multiple security measures to protect your personal information. Our regulations meet all standards prescribed in the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. (PIPEDA) and adheres to the Personal Health Information Privacy Act (PHIPA). We use the same levels of encryption as the major Canadian banks and host all information in Canada.

How do I obtain my medical records?

Please email us at info@healthcasa.com and we can provide you with a copy of your records.

Can I choose a specific practitioner?

Your health, your home … your choice! We strongly believe you should have a choice when it comes to your health. If you’d like to see the same practitioner you saw last time, someone your friend saw, or someone that has specific experience related to your injury or condition, we’ll do our best to book you with that practitioner as long as they’re available and service your area. We appreciate the value of the patient-practitioner relationship, however, regardless of which practitioner you see, you’ll have a great appointment experience.

Can I book with the same practitioner?

Absolutely! We strongly believe in continuity of care, so you’re able to request a practitioner who you’ve seen in the past. If your practitioner is not available at your desired date and time, you’ll be presented with a list of other available practitioners in your area. All practitioners that you see will have access to your previous appointment history and clinical notes associated with your session through HealthCasa’s secure Electronic Medical Record system.

Can I book directly with the practitioner?

HealthCasa is not just an online booking system, but a comprehensive clinical system which allows you to complete your intake forms, access all your past and upcoming appointments, receipts, prescriptions, medical forms, and invoices for insurance, and pay for your appointments … no more lost forms.  Our system is secure and encrypted to keep your information safe.

At the end of each appointment, you can make arrangements with your  practitioner for a follow up appointment, which they’ll send to our admin team to book into our system.

Can a practitioner also come to my office?

You bet! Appointments can take place in your office, home, cottage, hotel room or any other suitable location.  Just remember, if you want to see the same practitioner that you’ve seen at your home, in a different location, they might not be available in that area.

Can I change the location of my in-home appointment?

HealthCasa practitioners schedule their availability based on their working radius. If your appointment location is changed, we cannot guarantee that the same practitioner will be available in your area. We ask that you cancel your appointment and rebook using the correct appointment location. Please note that the same cancellation policy applies.

I’m running late for my appointment, what do I do?

Practitioners can only wait for a maximum of 15 minutes after the scheduled start time of your appointment time due to other scheduled appointments and commitments. Please note, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy so you will be charged the full price of your appointment should it fall within this window.

My practitioner is running late for my appointment, what do I do?

HealthCasa practitioners will make every effort to be on time (or even a few minutes early) for your appointment, however occasionally things happen which are beyond anyone’s control. Please provide your practitioner with 15 min of grace time, and call or text us at 647-691-5150 and we will contact your practitioner immediately. If your practitioner does not attend the session or is more than 15 min late, you can continue with the appointment, subject to the practitioner’s availability, or reschedule or obtain a full refund. If your appointment is rescheduled or refunded, you will not be charged for the session.

What if my child/parent/spouse doesn’t have their own email address?

You can set up a profile for yourself and we can link it to your child’s/parent’s/spouse’s profile so you can easily manage their appointment, etc.
